The golden building you see on the right on this page is located on the Burg square. That is the same square of the Basilica of the Holy Blood and City Hall.
On the left map you see a purple star with yellow dot in, that is where the gold building is located.
I'll be waiting in front of this building. I'll be wearing a yellow lanyard, so it is easy to find me.
Some people visit Bruges with a cruise ship. These ships dock at Zeebrugge (Seabruges) and that's about 18km (11,8mi) from Bruges.
Most of the times there are taxi's waiting when a ship arrives. A one-way ride to (or from) Bruges is about €55 per taxi (not per person).
You want to be dropped off as close as possible to the meeting point, of course. Tell the driver to drop you off at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Burg square. Below you find a view (and a map) from the Crowne Plaza Hotel to the meeting point (81 meter/88yard).
From the view, just take a left turn around the corner.
People visiting Bruges by train need a quick way in the city.
From experience I know using public transportation can be challenging, but let me help you.
Leave the train station, as there are renovations to the station, there's only one exit. You'll see a large square in front of you.
The busses with number 1 and 2 are the ones you need. You find them on platform A1. From where you leave you find platform A1 when looking in the direction of "11 o'clock". I've added some pictures to make it more clear.
The top view (first picture) shows by the green circle where you leave the train station, the red square is where the platform A1 is located.
The other two pictures are what platform A1 looks like from a distance and up close.
