Out of the blue, just like that? Yes, a new thing to do in Bruges, and... only here you'll find it !

How about, combining the walk with some food? This is brand new, just booting up. So, from 2nd half of February 2016 you'll be able to request a "tasteful walk". Only in the weekends, at the moments that my girlfriend is available. In the few free weekdays there'll be possibility to take this walk.

So ask, and I'll let you know if it's possible or not. Our apologies we can't offer it every day.

Meet the Chef !

Fenna was born in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. Only daughter, so surrounded with all the love a girl can have, the family decided to move to Belgium when she was 14.

She had a dream and did what everyone would do: chase the dream and make it come true. So Fenna joined the Belgian army in 2014. She wanted to see the world so she chose to go for the Navy.

And it’s right there the magic happened! She chose to become a cook within the Navy. Before she joined in she liked to cook occasionally. But when taking the classes to become a cook, there was something the instructors in the international cooking-school (Belgian-Dutch cooperation) quickly noticed! This young girl had an excellent pallet for tastes! The techniques were learned, the inspiration she had was stimulated so when she presented her menu for the exams the instructors didn’t have a little taste of her dishes… No, they ate it all! Up to today they still talk about her pesto she made!

It’s in the army I learned to know this girl. We became friends, and yes… it’s more then “just friends” today. People who took my walk already know how much I love this girl!

Fenna is aboard naval ship nowadays, but in her free time she wants to touch people with her food.

Now we put our heads together and came up with this wonderful idea. Her dream is to touch people by offering them delicious food. So why not have people have a taste of Belgium during a walk? Taking worldly food and adding Belgian ingredients, that's Fusion !

And, even better, this type of walk doesn’t exist in Bruges. Here you have a unique way to experience a country and city.

The walk will be the normal walk through the center of the city. But along the way there will be 3 stops, where you'll get "amuse-bouche", joined by a taste of a Belgian beer.
